• Excellent low temperature properties: maintains good mechanical performance at extreme low temperatures, suitable for ultra-low temperature environments such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, etc.
• Excellent chemical resistance: highly resistant to strong acids (e.g. concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid), strong alkalis, organic solvents and oxidizing agents.
• High mechanical strength and dimensional stability: hardness and compressive strength are superior to PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), and it stands out for its resistance to cold flow and creep, making it suitable for the manufacture of high-precision mechanical components.
• Excellent gas tightness: extremely low water vapor permeability, is one of the best materials in terms of barrier properties among transparent plastic films, suitable for high vacuum sealing and moisture-proof packaging.
• Good electrical insulating properties: PCTFE has excellent dielectric properties, being a good insulating material in electrical and electronic applications.
• Radiation and weathering resistance: can be operated under UV and nuclear radiation conditions for long periods of time without noticeable degradation of properties, suitable for nuclear industry and open air applications.
• Transparency: transparency and UV resistance make PCTFE suitable for optical applications including lenses and windows requiring durability and transparency.
