Technology Characteristics
The «HD-WSA» wet process package for sulfuric acid production from sulfur-containing gases, developed by Hunan Chenwei Environmental Engineering Company, is designed for the treatment of sulfur-containing compounds including H₂S, SO₂, CS₂, COS and others. The technology package provides high thermal energy utilization in the system equipment; water-steam or molten salt is used as the heat transfer medium, which produces high quality steam that can be used for power generation or heating. If the customer has more stringent requirements on post-condensation process gas emissions, Hunan Chenwei's technology package enables deep environmental treatment of the condensed process gas. As a result, the concentration of sulfur dioxide (SO₂) in the exhaust gas emitted to the environment is controlled below 35 mg/m3 (under standard conditions), and the concentration of sulfuric acid mist (H₂SO₄) is controlled below 5 mg/m3 (under standard conditions).
