PTFE products for sealing
Depending on the requirements of different applications, certain proportions of fillers can be added to PTFE products. Such products not only retain the foreign properties of pure PTFE, but also significantly improve hardness, wear resistance, creep resistance, compression strength, flexural strength, thermal conductivity and dimensional stability, which generally improves the performance of PTFE products. Commonly used fillers: glass fiber, graphite, carbon fiber, molybdenum disulfide, silicon dioxide, copper powder, polyphenylene terephthalate, polyetheretherketone and others.
Modified PTFE
Modified PTFE is obtained by adjusting the molecular structure of PTFE, which gives it new characteristics such as better cold flow resistance, low permeability to chemicals and gases, weldability, etc. At the same time, the unique properties of PTFE itself are not reduced, which opens up opportunities for new applications, especially in areas where safety and reliability are important.
