WSA-Sulfuric Acid by Wet Process - Acid Spray Control Unit MCU

The acid aerosol control unit used in the WSA wet acid process can effectively improve the efficiency of acid condensation. Its working principle is as follows: the combustion of silicone oil generates its particles, which are intensively mixed with the process gas via a high-efficiency mixer installed on the process pipe between the converter and the condenser, and then jointly fed into the condenser.
When the process gas is cooled and condensed in the condenser, the silicone oil particles generated by the acid aerosol control unit can act as crystal nuclei to condense gaseous H₂SO₄ into liquid H₂SO₄. This effect not only greatly improves the condenser condensation efficiency, but also effectively reduces the emission of acidic H₂SO₄ aerosols from the condenser with process gas.
