UHMW-PE – rendkívül nagy molekulatömegű polietilén

UHMPE (Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene) is a high-performance thermoplastic engineering plastic with a molecular weight typically in the range of 3 to 9 million, known as “amazing plastic.” Its complex properties significantly surpass conventional polyethylene: it combines ultra-high wear resistance, impact resistance, self-lubricating properties, chemical resistance and excellent low-temperature strength. It is widely used in mining, oil and chemical industry, electric power, medicine, military industry and other fields.
