A special catalyst for wet-process acid production, developed using a unique formulation and shaped like a seven-toothed earring, is designed to adapt effectively to high-humidity process conditions. Its distinctive seven-toothed design provides a large specific surface area, enhanced dust retention capacity, and lower hydraulic resistance, thereby efficiently optimizing the spatial distribution of the catalyst within the converter. In particular, the cesium component in the catalyst demonstrates outstanding performance: it exhibits excellent efficiency in lowering operating temperatures and controlling sulfur dioxide (SO₂) emissions from exhaust gases.
Furthermore, thanks to its specialized manufacturing process and optimized formula, this catalyst features increased specific surface area and porosity. It maintains high activity across a wide temperature range, enabling adaptation to various types of converter layers and offering exceptional versatility.
