The acid foam control unit working on WSA wet acid production technology can effectively improve the acid condensation efficiency. Its working principle is as follows: when silicone oil is burned, its particles are formed, which through a high-efficiency mixer installed on the process pipe between the converter and the capacitor, are completely mixed with the process gas, and then enter the capacitor together.
When cooling and condensing the process gas in the capacitor, the silicone oil particles generated by the acid foam control unit act as crystallization centers for condensing the gaseous H2SO4 into a liquid state. This not only significantly increases the condensation efficiency in the capacitor, but also effectively reduces the amount of acid foams H₂SO4 exiting the capacitor along with the process gas.
