The WSA knockout-drum demister is manufactured from modified fluoropolymer resin supplied by Daikin, Japan. Its construction and operating characteristics are as follows:
Construction: The demister element is woven from modified fluoropolymer monofilament approximately 0.25–0.30 mm in diameter to form a mesh structure. For glass-tube assemblies, a columnar weave is used, and the overall dimensions are manufactured to the agreed equipment requirements.
Temperature resistance: Designed for continuous operation at up to 200 °C, with a maximum short-term service temperature of 250 °C.
Deposit resistance: Under acid-vapour service at temperatures up to 200 °C, the mesh structure is designed to reduce solidified deposits and support stable operation.
