UHMW-PE Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene

UHMPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) is a high-performance thermoplastic engineering plastic with molecular weights typically in the range of 3 to 9 million, known as the «amazing plastic». Its comprehensive properties are far superior to conventional polyethylene: it combines ultra-high abrasion resistance, impact resistance, self-librating properties, chemical resistance and excellent low-temperature strength. It is widely used in mining, petroleum and chemical industry, electric power, medicine, military and other fields.
