PCTFE stick

PCTFE (polychlorotrifluoroethylene) is a high-performance fluoroplastic. Its molecular chain contains fluorine and chlorine atoms simultaneously, which combines the corrosion resistance of fluoroplastics with the polar properties of chlorine atoms, giving it excellent complex characteristics. PCTFE is widely used in high-tech fields such as aerospace, low-temperature sealing, semiconductors, chemical fluids, medical devices and others.

Product Characteristics

  • Exceptional low temperature properties: maintains good mechanical strength at extreme low temperatures, suitable for ultra-low temperature environments such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, etc.
  • Excellent chemical resistance: highly resistant to strong acids (e.g. concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid), strong alkalis, organic solvents and oxides.
  • High mechanical strength and dimensional stability: hardness and compression resistance are superior to those of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), and cold flow and creep resistance are also outstanding, making it suitable for the manufacture of high-precision mechanical parts.
  • Excellent gas tightness: extremely low permeability to water vapor, is one of the materials with the best barrier properties among transparent plastic films, suitable for high vacuum sealing and moisture resistant packaging.
  • Good electrical insulating properties: PCTFE has excellent dielectric characteristics, being a good insulating material in electrical and electronic applications.
  • Resistant to radiation and atmospheric conditions: can be operated under UV and nuclear radiation conditions for long periods of time without noticeable degradation of properties, suitable for nuclear industry and open air applications.
  • Transparency: transparency and UV resistance make PCTFE suitable for optical applications including lenses and windows requiring durability and transparency.
