WSA-Sulfuric acid by wet process — the inner part of the acid tank (acid collector WSA CONDENSER – ACID COLLECTOR with acid-resistant brick cladding)
Hot flue gases with a temperature of 265-285°C from the conversion column of the wet acid production technology enter the WSA acid capacitor through the lower acid collection tank, where the acid production process ends.
In the acid condenser, flue gases are converted from a gaseous state to a liquid, resulting in a concentrated high temperature sulfuric acid (about 245 °C). This concentrated sulfuric acid flows into the lower acid collection tank, where it is collected, and then transported to the sulfuric acid circulation system through an acid release hose.
